EMERANCE MASCHMEYER Scholarship Application
The Emerance Maschmeyer Scholarship is currently open to Female U18 players who best exhibit the overall qualities of academics, community involvement, and hockey leadership.
Award amount - $1000.00
No applications will be accepted after April 21, 2025; if selected as the winner, funds will be held in trust until confirmation of post-secondary acceptance.
EARL REID Scholarship Application
The Earl Reid Scholarship is currently open to Ranger U18‐aged players best exhibiting the overall qualities of academics, community involvement, and hockey leadership
Award amount - $1000.00
No applications will be accepted after April 21, 2025; if selected as the winner, funds will be held in trust until confirmation of post-secondary acceptance.
George Pietersma Scholarship Application
The George Pietersma Scholarship is currently open to U18-aged FSMH (Fury or Ranger) players best exhibiting the qualities of volunteerism in the community
Award amount - $1000.00
No applications will be accepted after April 21, 2025; if selected as the winner, funds will be held in trust until confirmation of post-secondary acceptance.
FSMH REFEREE Scholarship Application
The FSMH Referee Scholarship is currently open to any FSMH Referee (currently in high school or post-secondary school) best exhibiting the overall qualities of academics, community involvement, and hockey.
Award amount - $500.00
No applications will be accepted after April 21, 2025; if selected as the winner, funds will be held in trust until confirmation of post-secondary acceptance.
2025 RECIPIENTS
2025 Fort Saskatchewan Minor Sports STRIKE Scholarship
Students with full or part time enrolment at a post-secondary institution in Fall 2025 or Winter 2026. Scholarships awarded will prefer current high school students graduating in June 2025, however any post secondary student that has participated in FSMSA is eligible for the 2025 Strike Scholarship. Proof of enrolment at a post secondary institution will be required before monetary disbursement.
STRIKE Gold Scholarship: $1000 awarded to applicants
STRIKE Silver Scholarship: $500 awarded to applicants
STRIKE Bronze Scholarship: $250 awarded to applicants
Applicants must have been involved in at least 1 season of FSMSA sport to be considered for the Scholarship. Applicants with more involvement within FSMSA will be highly considered.
