SPORTSPLEX - Letter From City of Fort Saskatchewan

Dear Users,

The SportsPlex facility will be temporary up and running and available to the User groups on Monday January 14, 2013. With the temporary usage there are a set of rules and regulations in place to help with the usage and over all safety for the patrons within the facility. These must be followed and deviation from these rules could have the facility shut down for future use.

Rules:

OCCUPANCY RATE:

The maxim occupancy rating for this 50 people. This will include two city staff members on site with 48 patrons/users. This number has been generated to insure safety for the users when a evacuation is required and is calculated by the amount of open space and access to emergency exits. In the lace up/change room area the occupancy rating will be 20 people per room. Please insure that all yours team mates, parents and support staff are aware of this, as this number must be strictly followed. This will require them to manage the number of people brought to site (no extra parents/kids/grandparents)

CONSTRUCTION ZONE:

Any area within the fenced area or on the western side of the building is not accessible or available to the public. This area is still under construction and is UNSAFE! Anybody found try to gain access or found within the construction area will be removed from the area immediately and the team/user using the facility will be give only ONE warning. Any other altercations will have the user group removed from the facility for the rest of the season and will have to find another facility to use for practices/games.

RINK ATTENDANT and CITY STAFF:

City staff at site are not complaint boxes and will not tolerate any form of abuse. If there is any comments or suggestions from any patron at the facility it should be forwarded to my attention. It is the City's policy to address all comments or complaints in a timely manner and will discuss with the issues and come up with solutions as required. It is to be understood that the staff on site have been instructed by management insure everyone safety and to follow the above restrictions and have taken on extra duties and responsibilities to have your group to use the facility. As stated above NO ABUSE OF ANY KIND WILL BE TOLERATED!

Please pass these rules to your users and please feel free to send any comments or questions. With everyone working together this facility can be used safety and be fun for all.

Thank you,
Chadwick Paddick C.E.T.
