This season, FSMH will begin registration for new to hockey players on July 1st, this includes U5 and U7. Registration for these players will remain open until July 15. Please note that space is limited; if a division reaches capacity, you will have the option to register for the waitlist.

1. Create a Spordle account and generate a Hockey Canada ID# for your child.

2. Complete the Respect in Sport – Parent Program

3. Prepare proof of residency (drivers license, current utility bill) you will need this for registration

4. Prepare age verification documents (birth certificate or passport) you will need this for registration

5. Fill out the Hockey Canada Medical Information Form.  You will need to upload this as part of registration.

6. Register HERE or through the button near the bottom of this page after 

⛔ You will not be able to register with FSMH without completing a player transfer/approval as outlined below.  Do not register until your player movement request has been completed and approved.

If played outside of Alberta in a sanctioned hockey program last season, moved to Fort Saskatchewan and registering this season with FSMH, complete the:

• • Hockey Alberta Parent Declaration Form (follow form instructions)

  • Be sure to Include gm@fsmhockey.com in the MHA submission field.

  • You may complete registration after July 1st once transfer has been processed

  • Wait for confirmation that the transfer is approved before registering. 

If played within Alberta in a sanctioned hockey program last season, moved to Fort Saskatchewan and registering this season with FSMH, complete the:

• • Hockey Alberta Player Movement Form (follow form instructions)

  • Note: You can complete and submit the form any time after May 1, though Hockey Alberta will begin processing only after July 1.

  • Movement requests will be reviewed

  • Wait for confirmation that the transfer is approved before registering. 

If looking to register with FSMH after playing in a non-sanctioned program:

• • Registration will be accepted after July 1st on a first come first serve basis. 

Once transfers have been approved

1. Log into Spordle Account and confirm your Hockey Canada ID#.

2. While in your Spordle account, go to "Members" and check under your child's "Qualifications" tab to ensure that your Respect in Sport – Parent certification is valid and renew if expired.  You will need your valid Respect in Sport number during registration.

3. Fill out the Hockey Canada Medical Information Form.  

4. Register for the 2025-26 season HERE 

**Note**If trying our for AA/AAA hockey not to worry there is no registration cap for tryouts, you will be able to register on July 1st.  Registration caps are only for community Fury and Ranger programs.  If you register and do not make the AA/AAA programs and the  community program is full you may be placed on a waitlist at that point.

⛔ If Returning from Non-Sanctioned Hockey - Registration Opens on July 1st. 

All Players returning from a non-sanctioned league will be able to register after July 1. If the player has siblings that played with in FSMH in the 2024-25 season only the players who were registered last season are eligible for Stage 1 registration.
