1^st player – 2 credits, additional players – 1 credit each - Per Family

For example, if you have 2 players in Fort Sask Minor Hockey you will be responsible for 3 credits.

Managers, Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Treasures do not need to submit their time.

Yes, absolutely when we have new opportunities come up, we will share them with the entire association.  For example, provincials, Edmonton Minor Hockey Week, camps, etc.

You can sell 50/50 to friends and family. 50/50 raffles will be posted monthly through Rafflebox. Friends and family will just need to select your player’s name when purchasing tickets and each ticket sold will go towards your credit accumulation.

This program is the major and only fundraiser that FSMH will do during the season.  Associations need two 2 big things to happen during the season, volunteers, and fundraising. This season FSMH decided to combine the two together to create a more customizable program for families.  We know each family has different needs and much like team fundraising some families will just be happy to donate, some families would like to volunteer, and some will do both with this program that is possible.

FSMH carefully selected the positions that are both heavy in volunteer hours and the positions that FSMH commits to having filled before the team’s season starts (Association Volunteer Positions).  Other positions are the team’s responsibility to fill within the parent group. Positions such as time clock, and penalty box are team volunteer positions. Fundraising Coordinators are already benefiting the team and players, as the funds go directly into the team’s bank account.  These positions do not qualify and are considered team volunteer positions.

FSMH is looking at many new ways to bring in things like development for our players, a technical director, new game jerseys, new practice jerseys, new U9 goalie equipment, additional coach education and resources. All, of these things, will need fundraising to be successful and our hope is that this program makes a big impact on our association and what we can provide.
