EMERANCE MASCHMEYER 2025 SCHOLARSHIP – JADA PESONY

Fort Saskatchewan Minor Hockey is proud to announce that the recipient of the 2025 Emerance Maschmeyer Scholarship is Jada Pesony.
The Emerance Maschmeyer Scholarship is awarded annually to a female U18 player who best exemplifies a commitment to academic excellence, community involvement, and hockey leadership. Jada has demonstrated exceptional qualities across all of these areas during her time with FSMH and the Fury program.
Throughout her years with the Fury, Jada grew into an outstanding leader, serving as a Captain and Assistant Captain during her U15 and U18 seasons. Her journey from a shy newcomer to a confident leader is a testament to her work ethic, perseverance, and commitment to her teammates. Off the ice, Jada has been actively involved in the community, volunteering with the U7 and U9 Fury teams, the Fort Saskatchewan Food Bank, and the Oilers Community Foundation, helping to develop young female athletes.
In addition to her hockey and volunteer achievements, Jada has set her sights on continuing her academic journey by pursuing a college program in Dental Assisting and Hygiene, with long-term career goals of becoming a dentist.
We are proud to recognize Jada Pesony for her leadership, her contributions to the community, and her dedication to personal and academic growth. She represents the very best of FSMH and the spirit of the Emerance Maschmeyer Scholarship.
Congratulations, Jada!
