EARL REID – 2025 SCHOLARSHIP – SAWYER AMOS

Fort Sask Minor Hockey is proud to announce that the recipient of the 2025 Earl Reid Scholarship is Sawyer Amos.
The Earl Reid Scholarship is awarded annually to a U18-aged Ranger player who best exemplifies excellence in academics, community involvement, and hockey leadership. Sawyer has consistently demonstrated these qualities both on and off the ice throughout his time in our program.
A dedicated Fort Saskatchewan Minor Hockey athlete, Sawyer has proudly worn the Rangers jersey since his early years, embodying commitment, sportsmanship, and leadership. As a multi-year Assistant Captain, Sawyer modeled integrity, resilience, and support for his teammates. Beyond hockey, Sawyer actively volunteered with Families First, the Food Bank, Dr. Turner Lodge, and assisted with community meal deliveries during the pandemic. His outstanding efforts extend into his academic pursuits, having been accepted into the Bachelor of Science in Engineering University Transfer Program at Red Deer Polytechnic, with future plans to attend the University of Alberta to complete a degree in Civil Engineering.
Sawyer’s work ethic, character, and dedication to his team and community truly represent the spirit of the Earl Reid Scholarship. We are honored to recognize his achievements and wish him every success in his future endeavors.
Congratulations, Sawyer!
