Our Peewee A girls team (sponsored
by Teri&Dyanna @Remax) just returned from Okotoks
(Nov 20-22, 2009) where they went undefeated in round robin
play and then went on to win the gold medal game.
Congrats to Fury Peewee on the winning your Christmas Tournament

Westaskiwin met Edmonton Crushers in the Bronze medal round to win
it 2-0. Congrats ladies.
Redwater faced Onoway to skate away with the silver medal in an
intense 3-2 game. Good job teams!
For the gold medal, Fort Saskatchewan and St. Albert went end to
end for three periods. Fort Saskatchewan was ahead by a goal with
four minutes left in the third when St. Albert scored to tie the
game 2-2. This meant one thing... a shoot-out. Five shooters were
chosen from each side. The goalies stood tall (well, as tall
as they could anyways :) and in the end the score was 4-2
for Fort Saskatchewan. Great effort from both teams.
What a fantastic tournament! Thank you all for
attending. We hope you enjoyed the two days and hope the players
did too.
I overheard one dad remark as he followed his daughter into the
rink, "Its a great day, you get to play hockey!" That
sums it up, I couldn't said it better!
